Mr. Raul Petraglia worked with Grupo Experiencias Xcaret from February 2016 through February 2018. Initially, his role was Excecutive Director for Destino Xcaret Hotels & Resorts, as part of the Hotels Division. Subsequently, and as a personal lifestyle choice, Raul changed his role to becoming a strategic advisor to the Hotel Division, until the grand opening of our first hotel, Hotel Xcaret Mexico.
As Executive Director, Raul was instrumental in the development of the concept, visión and product of our first hotel. He demonstrated a great creative ability and proved to have in depth knowledge in the the creation of brands and concept of Hotels, as well as in the operation of these. He successfully achieved the complex task of fusing 2 very different worlds, that of traditional Hotels with that of Grupo Experiencias Xcaret which was deeply rooted in nature - themed Parks. Through this effort, he was able to créate a unified identity as well as design services to go along with it that were innovative and trend setting. His contribution to the creation of the vision and identity in the areas of branding, sales & marketing, Public Relations and Operations, has provided a solid foundation for the Hotel Division. Without a doubt, his interaction and contribution in the Development, Architecture and Design areas were essential to achieve a product that is as competitive and original as what Hotel Xcaret Mexico is today.
During his tenure, Raul Petraglia was a relentless and profesional guide, who opened our eyes to the exciting world of Hotels. He is a highly valuable asset for any organization, and we are certain that he will have much success in his future endeavors, for which we highly recommend him.
